Chevrolet Distributors Conference 2014 – One World Futbol Project
Held on the 12th of March 2014, as a founding sponsor of the One World Futbol Project, Chevrolet Asia’s executives and general managers set off to St. Vincent de Paul at Bacoor, Cavite for the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity of this year’s Chevrolet Distributors Conference.
Essentially, the One World Futbol Project, where play and sport are used to foster social change, and Chevrolet have partnered to bring the joy of soccer and play to the youth around the world. Accordingly, Chevrolet has pledged to support the donation and distribution of more than one million One World Futbols over three years to disadvantaged communities in every corner of the globe.
Subsequent to the short address given by Chevrolet’s Mr. Akshay Jaising, Chevrolet then donated the nearly indestructible soccer balls to the young football enthusiasts at St. Vincent de Paul, which was then followed by a friendly game for the children.
The activity concluded with a thank you speech from the Chevrolet team. The executives, together with the children and their new Chevrolet-branded One World Futbols, gamely posed for a group photo.
In line with this corporate activity, Lead Events PH was in charge of the sounds and set-up at the St. Vincent de Paul soccer field. The said set-up includes the twelve Chevrolet flags (two 4-meter flags and ten 2-meter flags) in addition to the placement of the Chevrolet vehicles, the Chevrolet Colorado for instance, as shown in the photo below.
